An interview with Myrna Pyle Samsel and Ron Pyle, who are sister and brother, about the general history of the family in the US west, and their roots in Denmark. Their great grandmother and grandmother and grandfather all came from Denmark. We also discuss the barn itself, how the family used it and their childhood memories and also their emotions during this time when the barn is being taken apart and removed to make way for a housing development. The interview took place in Myrna's home, not far from where the barn is being taken down.

In this video, different aspects of the barn are filmed as to give an overview of the barn. Ron Pyle, his sister Myrna Samsel, a young boy named Caleb, and a friend are carefully taking apart the Pyle barn, which was built in 1928 by Myrna and Michael's grandfather. Some of the old equipment from the barn is examined, such as a Del Monte box, and a metal barrel which held molasses. It takes pretty much five days to completely remove the barn. The first part of the video covers the first day and then it skips to day 5.
