ENTER THE COLLECTION
This collection represents documentation of the Valentine’s Tea held at Adams Elementary School in Logan, Utah. The collection includes interviews of teachers, parents, and the principal regarding this celebration day event that includes manner’s tea hosted on Valentine’s Day (14 February) by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Folklorist Randy Williams conducted the research in 1995 and 2001. Williams published a journal article on the tradition in “‘Tea for Two’ and the Rest of the School: Valentines’ Day at Adams Elementary,” in Children’s Folklore (Vol. 28: 2005–2006), pp. 23–32.
