Small antique manuscript containing the Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit with approximately 300 folios with painted miniatures inserted throughout. There are 7 separately foliated sections in the book, most of which open with decorated two-page spreads. Several painted miniatures illustrating incarnations of Vishnu have been inserted throughout. The text is in Sanskrit (Devanagari script) probably originating in Kashmir and dating to sometime in the 19th century.
