This home was built in 1907. It was built as the residence of the second wife of David Eccles, Ellen Stoddard. Early in the twentieth century, Utah State University acquired downtown houses for use by its students, and the David Eccles home became a dorm for upper-class women in 1946. In 1956 it became Kerr Hall, a dorm for forty-five male students. It is currently owned by S.E. Needham, III, known for his various business interests throughout Logan.; 250 West Center Street, Logan, Utah

Many are seated cross-legged in front, with standing figures behind holding rifles, and a battery signboard (“Battery D”) placed center. In the background are trees and military buildings, suggesting a stateside training camp such as Camp Sherman, Ohio.

A panoramic black-and-white photograph depicting members of Battery F, 323rd Field Artillery Regiment, part of the 83rd Division of the United States Army during World War I. The men are posed in several rows with barracks buildings in the background. Most are in uniform with overcoats, and some wear campaign hats. A regimental flag marked "F 323 F.A." is held near the right edge of the group. The image was likely taken at a military training camp, possibly Camp Sherman, Ohio.
