Scott Germer was born in Deweyville, Utah and farmed with his father and grandfather while growing up. Scott's grandfather was a blacksmith and had his own shop a little bit south of the farm. Later, on this property, he had a work shed that Scott maintains today. There are 4 barns along the road in front of his house. At the time of this interview, Scott continues to farm. There is a brief history of how barns in this area came to be built, the people who built them, and a description of farming in the area.
