The Holmgren's bought the property from John Larsen. Tamara's grandfather was David Holmgren. He was the mayor in Tremonton and built the Midland Hotel in Tremonton and ran that and then built the barn. Tamara's parents were the next owners after her grandfather until 1988, when Tamara and her husband Claire bought it. Current use of the barn includes hay storage, chickens and goat quarters, and a wreath making area. The farm is on the National Historic Register.
